Flow
- Build a standards-compatible payload for the selected content type.
- Encode it with the selected error correction and a four-module quiet zone by default.
- Render local PNG/SVG/PDF outputs, using high error correction when a center logo is enabled.
Example
Worked example: URL to QR
- 1 Input https://calctrove.com/json-tools/json-validator.
- 2 Generator encodes URL into a QR matrix.
- 3 Preview panel renders a scannable QR image.
QR image is ready for download or copy.
How
- Choose URL, text, email, phone, SMS, WiFi, contact, or event and enter the requested fields.
- Review the live QR preview and scan-reliability score for contrast, quiet zone, density, and logo settings.
- Download PNG for quick sharing, SVG for scalable design, or PDF for print-ready handoff.
Cases
- Create QR codes for product pages or onboarding links.
- Generate quick QR notes for classroom and workshop sharing.
- Prepare offline QR assets for printed handouts.
Avoid
- Pasting extremely long text and expecting dense QR codes to scan reliably on small screens.
- Assuming image data URLs are suitable for every CMS without testing.
- Forgetting to verify the final URL before publishing.
- Using center logos without checking scan-reliability score and real-device scans.
FAQ
Does this upload my text anywhere?
No, QR generation runs in your browser and input is not stored by the tool.
Can I generate QR for plain text and not only URLs?
Yes, any text payload can be encoded into the QR output.
What error correction level is used?
You can choose L, M, Q, or H. Enabling a center logo automatically uses H because the logo covers part of the QR matrix.
Can I export QR as PDF?
Yes. The export panel supports PNG, SVG, and PDF download options from the same generated QR.
Why does the quiet zone matter?
A clear border helps scanners separate the QR code from surrounding content. The tool defaults to four modules and warns when the margin is smaller.
